Pre-paid H&G Tour tickets will be held for pick-up at registration on the day of the tour. There are no refunds, including for inclement weather. The rates below are in effect only through midnight April 14th, 2012. Starting on April 15th, ALL tickets will be $25.00 each, with the sole exception of student tickets which will remain $10.00 each. Note that a valid student ID is required at registration. Children under 12 years of age are admitted free but must be closely supervised. No pets are allowed on the tour.
Neither group tickets nor the package of 2 general public (GP) tickets + a copy of the "Community of Vision" book will be available after April 14th. Also after this date, any copies remaining of the 184-page, hard back book, "Hollin Hills -- Community of Vision," printed in 2000 to commemorate our neighborhood's 50th anniversary, will be sold for $50.00. Chapters are written by past and current residents, including many architects of note and two speakers at the April 27th discussion on Hollin Hills at the Corcoran Gallery of Art, landscape architect Dennis Carmichael and architect Michael Sorkin. The April 27th discussion, "A Community of Vision: Hollin Hills, Modern Then and Now," is hosted by the Interior Design Department of the Corcoran College of Art + Design, at the Corcoran Gallery of Art, 500 17th Street, NW, Washington, DC, from 6:00-7:30 pm. Tickets for this presentation may be purchased here online only through midnight April 14th, or on a space-available basis at the Corcoran Gallery on April 27th.
